At the fourth Planta Europa Conference in Valencia, Spain, September 2004, the Planta Europa Network undertook a review of the European Plant Conservation Strategy (EPCS). As a result of the Mid-term review, seven Critical Targets were defined. It defines the action plant of Planta Europa to be achieved by the next Planta Europa Conference in Romania in 2007.
